Beginner to Advanced
I teach a wide range of students. Some are starting from scratch while others are quite advanced. Whether you're 6 or 106 I pride myself in my ability to adapt and teach in the ways that benefit you.
Whatever your ability level there is always something new to learn. I do my sincere best to keep you advancing.
Showcases!
Performing live music is definitely its own muscle to exercise but can be an anxiety-ridden experience for some. I do all I can to create a supportive, encouraging and a fun experience for my seasonal showcases. Getting students comfortable with performance in addition with the music scene here in Fayetteville is a large reason I host these at actual venues around town!
Original music is highly encouraged as well as collaborations. If you'd like for me to play with you, perform to a backing track, or go totally solo. Let's do it! Whether you want to wear your "rockstar" outfit or prefer slacks and a tie, All is welcome!
A Little Bit About Me
27 Years of Musical Experience
My Studies in music began at age 7 and have continued to present day. I've been lucky to study music in Middle/High School Orchestra, at the University of Arkansas and lastly with Dr. Matthew Warnock (PhD in Jazz Guitar Performance), with whom I continue my studies. Coming from a family of teachers, I've learned that the best teachers never stop learning. My free time is a testament to this, which is unrelentingly devoted to learning new concepts and pushing my own abilities. My goal is always to be the best guitar instructor you've ever met.
